Product Description
Kojic acid, also known as aspergillic acid, kojic acid, is a melanin-specific inhibitor. After entering skin cells, it can be complexed with copper ions in the cells, change the stereostructure of tyrosinase, prevent the activation of tyrosinase, and thus inhibit the formation of melanin. Kojic acid whitening active agents have better tyrosinase inhibition effect than other whitening active agents. It does not act on other biological enzymes in the cell, has no toxic effect on the cell, and it can also enter the intercellular substance to form intercellular glia, which plays the role of water retention and increasing skin elasticity. Function&Application  
1. Food processing field.
Kojic acid can be used as a food additive to keep fresh, prevent corrosion and resist oxidation. Experimental results show that kojic acid can inhibit the conversion of sodium nitrite into carcinogenic nitrosamines, and adding kojic acid to food does not affect the taste, aroma and texture of food. Kojic acid is also a raw material for the production of maltol and ethyl maltol. Kojic acid is widely used in food processing.
2. Medical field.
