Imperatorin and iso-impemtorin belong to the 6.7-isopyranocoumarins. Pharmacological action
Antimalarial action:
The IC50 and IC90 of impertin against P. falciparum were 2.4μg/mL and 9.3μg/mL respectively.
Antibacterial action:

Bioactivity :Imperatorin is a potent inhibitor of NOChemicalbooksynthesis with an IC50 of 9.2μmol and a BChE inhibitor with an IC50 of 31.4μmol. Imperatorin is a weak agonist of TRPV1 with an EC50 of 12.6±3.2μM.
