Product Description
The source is the inner bark of the trunks of Masson pine, Pinus tabulaeformis, Simao pine, etc. in Pinaceae. The base source of the medicinal material is the bark of Simao pine, Masson pine or plants of the same genus in the Pinaceae family.
The chemical ingredient is masson pine bark containing pimaric acid. OPCs are effective antioxidants, non-toxic, non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic and have no side effects. Very safe to use. Pine bark has been confirmed to be a new source of OPCs. OPCs extracted from pine bark have no difference in quality or function, except for some minor differences in appearance.

 

Chemical Composition
The antioxidant capacity of pine bark extract comes from proanthocyanidins (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) (OPCs), which have an antioxidant capacity 20 times that of vitamin C and 50 times that of vitamin E. As a famous antioxidant, OPCs can effectively suppress the effects of free radicals, which play an important role in degenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, blurred vision, sunburn and premature aging.
