Rutin Description:

Rutin, also known as rutin, vitamin P, molecular formula C27H30O16, is a natural flavonoid glycoside, which belongs to the flavonol ligands widely present in plants, two ligands are glucose and rhamnose. The appearance is light yellow or light green crystalline powder. It is soluble in pyridine, formyl and lye, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and ethyl acetate, and almost insoluble in chloroform, ether, benzene, carbon disulfide and petroleum ether. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-allergic, anti-viral and other effects.

Rutin Use:

1. It can be used as an edible antioxidant and nutrient enhancer.
2, it has anti-inflammatory effect, can reduce the inflammation caused by mustard oil on the eyes or skin of animals, and has antiviral effect.
3, with the maintenance of vascular resistance, reduce its permeability, reduce brittleness and other effects. It can be used to prevent cerebral hemorrhage, hypertension, retinal hemorrhage, purpura and acute hemorrhagic nephritis and other diseases.

Rutin action:

1. Anti-free radical effect: Rutin is a flavonoid compound, which is a strong antioxidant for scavenging free radicals. It can terminate the chain reaction of free radicals, inhibit the peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids on biofilm, remove lipid peroxidation products, protect the integrity of biofilm and subcellular structure, and play an important role in the body.
2. Anti-lipid peroxidation: Rutin has an inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation in castrated rats, and can inhibit the decline of the antioxidant capacity of the antioxidant system in rats after castration. Rutin can resist the decline of antioxidant capacity caused by the decline of endogenous estrogen and has antioxidant effects.
3. Antagonizing the effect of platelet activating factor: Rutin can antagonize the specific binding of PAF to rabbit platelet membrane receptors concentration-dependent, inhibit the PAF-mediated platelet adhesion in rabbits and the increase of free Ca2+ concentration in PMNs, suggesting that the mechanism of rutin's anti-PAF action is to inhibit the activation of PAF receptor, and then block the reaction induced by PAF, so as to play a role in cardiovascular protection
4. Anti-acute pancreatitis
