Kaempferol, an organic compound with chemical formula C15H10O6, is a yellow crystalline powder belonging to flavonoids. It is slightly soluble in water, hot ethanol, ether or alkali solution. It mainly has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, cough and expectorant effects.

1. Anti-cancer
Kaempferol is the most common flavonoid, and long-term diet can reduce the risk of cancer. Studies have reported that high intake of kaempferol can reduce the recurrence of advanced colorectal adenomas, and compared with other dietary flavonoids, high intake of kaempferol can also significantly reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer.
